fantasy

I’ve always loved to read fiction. It almost doesn’t matter what genre, but I only began selecting fantasy books when I was in JC, upon recommendations from a dear friend.

The first fantasy series I was exposed to was The Belgariad, written by David Eddings. I couldn’t believe that I’ve been missing out on something that good and subsequently, I was hooked on a few other  fantasy series. The only drawback, to me, was the fact that the libraries usually don’t have all the books of each series available, and it became too troublesome to be searching for the next book in line.

This morning I chanced upon @cowboycaleb’s twitter, that David Eddings has passed away.. And I’ve armed myself with four out of the five books in The Belgariad series from the library. I’m sure this great writer has inspired many over the years, and will be sorely missed.

A problem.

We began by recognising and noting of its existence, but nothing was done to resolve it. The issue escalated, and caused much distress.

What now? Are you ready to do something about it?

Or is it going to do something to us?
